By curator Anne-Laure Lemaitre: Kerin Rose Gold's incredibly successful career as a crystal artist for most A-Listers you can think of would blow your mind. But as I met Kerin and got to know her through our many commonalities and connections, I felt she had more to offer than the highly impactful and activist career she had carved for herself.
Kerin is an expert, a person with an eye, a hand and a thorough knowledge of a medium that if considered for its malleable ability to transform and transfigure, is as impactful as any other artistic medium one can think of
For AURORA BOREALIS at Abigail Ogilvy Kerin produced her first series of crystallized abstract sculptures, stripping away at the concept of wearable art to let the medium expand beyond its enhancement allure and focus on its materiality and play with color and light alone“ Aurora Borealis” marks a new creative chapter for Kerin Rose Gold, as she shares her fine art and sculptural work for the first time in a gallery setting. As she enters this exciting new artistic domain, Kerin doubles down on her one-of-a-kind vision and continued ability to transcend the boundaries of an established career.
