CBGB's, while named for country, bluegrass, and blues music was the nucleus for NYC punk music. Founded by Hilly Kristal, an NYC native whose venue acted as the starting point for massively influential punk rock and new wave musical acts. Pair them with a Ramones friendly jeans and teeshirt, or a Debbie Harry glam look; you'll look like a rockstar off duty in whatever pairing you choose.
